This post is for those who actually think that they are great, better than others just because they own a forum. I have met several people in my  who are very proud of saying “I own my own forum,” regardless of the fact that their forum hardly has any visitors or members. That day I met a girl who tried to prove that she is better than me by saying that she has her own general forum (Forum Stats - 122 posts, 9 members, 14 threads). I literally started laughing. She had to block me from msn when I told her about my teen forums (Forum Stats - Threads: 18,327, Posts: 481,524, Members: 20,054).

So don’t try to show off just because you own a forum. People with such attitude can only dream of owning an active forum. Just making a forum is no big deal but working hard for it and making it active is. When I had made teenhut.net, I did not think that way. So stop showing off your dead forum unless your forum really becomes active. You will only end up making a fool of yourself, specially in front of someone who already owns an active forum.

Today, there are trillions(maybe a bit exaggerated) of forums online but only a handful of them are active. It is because a lot of people think that they will make a forum and by tomorrow or atleast by a month it will be active, some even make plans of earning money from it beforehand. Most of them make the forum without any future planning of the site. They don’t even work for the forum to make it active and end up saying, it sucks. Nothing is easy in this world and you cannot achieve anything without hard work, whether it is a real job or making money online.
