4 Indians Among World’s 10 Richest

This quite came as a shock to me today when I read that there are four Indians among the top 10 richest persons. Below listed are the top 10 most rich people according to Forbes Magazine : -
- Warren Buffett (US) - $62b
- Carlos Slim Helu (Mexico) - $60b
- Bill Gates (US) - $58b
- Lakshmi Mittal (India) - $45b
- Mukesh Ambani (India) - $43b
- Anil Ambani (India) - $42b
- Ingvar Kamprad (Sweden) - $31b
- KP Singh (India) - $30b
- Oleg Depripaska (Russia) - $28b
- Karl Albrecht (Germany) - $27b
In all India has 53 billionaires - the most in Asia and the fourth highest in the world behind the US(469), Russia(87) and Germany(59). I am sure that we will beat Germany soon, haha. The combined wealth of 53 Indian billionaires ($334.6b) is greater than the $284.6b of Germany’s 59 billionaires put together. Also note that Moscow is the home to most billionaires (74), followed by New York(71) and London(36). Before I end this post, I would like to know your feelings at this moment. Also tell me that how do you feel when you hear 71 billionaires living in the same town. Sounds insane to me.

And wonder if both the Ambanis unite, then Indian family would have been on the top!

India is an emerging economic power mainly because of their work ethic.
India could have had been much better than what it is today, if and only if there was less corruptions.

And this is where capitalism fails. What’s the point of having so much money? Their kids will inherent all of it and will probably be spoiled brats…
These people should transform poor nations into powerful ones..
Well said there buddy. If even a small part of their income is used in making poor nations better, improving education of poor people, the country will become much better.
If people like Lakshmi Mittal calling himself Indian would go reside in UK, India became better then….. sad :O

Sometime back, Mukesh Ambani was the richest!!
But now, his Reliance Shares fell to the bottom which made him lose…
I know. My friend told me sometime back and I was extremely shocked. I knew he won’t be highest for longer. Anyway, whoever is richest, it won’t benefit us in any way haha.
Bill Gates, no. 3? How is this possible? Can you imagine this handful of people have more money than a whole continent makes in a lifetime? The distribution of money on Earth is far from equal, all the wealth goes to 1% of it’s population.
